With the prospects of becoming a grandmother, you start thinking about fun times spent with that little one. One of the things I have done for quite some time, even before my daughter was pregnant , is to begin a collection of books. All of these were picked up at the thrift store in excellent condition.
So, here are a few that I have collected.
One of my favorites.
I think we will have fun snuggling up and reading.
Can't wait!

Girl, right up my alley! Can't have too many books. You got some great ones and in such good condition.
Hugs,

Curious George! He is a favorite. Calvin has his monkey laugh perfected. :)
Congrats, Grandma!!
I ove kids books--guess that's the book lover and the teacher in me.
Have fun!

You have a lot to look forward to. Reading to my grands is one of my favorite things to do. Our stack includes Curious George, too!
You will have so much fun with these and your precious one some day!!
Now I'm feeling all nostalgic and wishing I had a little, little one to snuggle and read with. I'll just be thankful that my 9 year old still loves to sit and read with me.
I just unpacked the boxes marked "kids books" and have had so much fun looking at them again! I hope that every time the little ones come to visit Nana, they will love looking at them and reading them with me too! Never too many books! I hate that they have gotten so pricey, but you are a smart cookie to shop the garage sales for them!
You are such a good grandmother!
I love those old books - esp. Dick and Jane. Brings back lots of good memories!
Hope you are doing well today.
Blessings,
Melanie
Sweet Girl would love for you to read the Curious George book to her. :) She LOVVVVEESSS CG! :)
So excited for you and the coming phase in your life.
How did the cabinet doors turn out? I am hoping and praying they worked out.
