A Pleasant Interuption

No pictures today. I am headed out on a little post Christmas break. I will be taking off for a couple of days to the beach! A friend of mine called with an invitation to join her at the beach for a few days. If my camera arrives before I leave, I will definitely return on Monday with some pictures. Some of you may be thinking, the beach in the winter? Well here in the south we had about 80 degrees on Christmas day. It is a little cooler now, but I will be curling up on the beach with sweats and a blanket, and a good book, and perhaps getting some blogging thoughts and projects together. I hope each and every one of you have a wonderful new year! So for now Happy New Year, and don't forget, there will be a giveaway when I return. Looking forward to that 100th post. Blessings! Jackie

Happy New Year! Enjoy the beach for me!! We usually go to the WA Coast for the New Year and didn't get to go because of the snowy conditions here in Spokane. Stick a big toe in the water for me!

I hope that you get your new camera!! I too love to go to the beach around Christmas! There's no one else there--usually! It's like God has given you a new playground to explore without a million people all around!

happy new year!
Blessings,
Susan

We were "enjoying" that 80 deg. Christmas day too. My next door neighbor has one of those "free" dogs also. Good greif! My steamer came from QVC, and it does a fairly well job on my hard floors. I have steamed an area rug and the steamer pad had dirt on it, so I guess it's doing something. Hope you're having a great time at the beach! Wish I was there too :)

I can so relate to you. The only difference is i have two grown and then I was blessed with a precious third one. He is now 10. So I guess my nest is half empty. The older two were so close in age 21 and 20 and now my third..It feels like i am raising an only child..Amy

Have a wonderful vacation!! I was driving home from Orlando yesterday and as I passed the exit to Daytona Beach I was SO tempted to stop for an hour or two. It's been so warm around these parts!
