I am pleased to announce, that I procrastinated no longer and finished the ottoman last night. Don't look to close cause it's definitely not perfect!
I don't know if anyone else out there struggles with this, but sometimes I have such a fear of goofing up a project, that I put off even starting on it, silly I know. I am such an amateaur seamstress, so sewing projects are the worst for me. My sweet husband and children say I just lack a little(lot of) confidence.
Now I am on to the next project, for today it will be a little cleaning and laundry. Have a blessed day!

I am so glad you stopped by my blog! You did a great job with the ottoman. I am actually looking for one I can recover right now. I haven't found anything new that I just love or if I do that I can afford.
I absolutely love the the gift you made out of the fork. I would have never thought about that. How cute would that be for a dinner party...you should email that idea to Sandra Lee on the Food Network. My husband and I are going to Rennigers this weekend, for our 14th anniversary, and I have added silver to my list of things to find.
Love your site...I'll be checking back!!!
This looks great!! I would not call you an amatauer anything!
Wow it looks great and love that color! What are you waiting on girlfriend... Go and get that birdhouse! You lucky girl!.... Susie h~
You did a great job! And I love how you did the top part; not as much work as re-creating the top cushion with all the piping. I actually like this solution better than if you would have duplicated how it was constructed before!

Your ottoman looks icredible. You did an awesome job. I love the fork idea too, it's so creative.
Nice job recovering! I have an ottoman I've been thinking of doing. You're right...sometimes you've just got to go for it!
Wow....I don't sew at all, so I think it turned out wonderfully!!!
The ottoman looks great, you did an awesome job! Thanks so much for the comment you left for me :-) I usually don't make my cakes from scratch, but I have found that the best cake mix is Wal-Mart's Great Value Yellow cake mix (in the pink box). It's moist but has a good texture that works well for wedding and birthday cakes. It's the only mix I use and everyone always comments on how good it tastes. (I never tell them it's a mix ;-) Hope you're having a great day!
Wow! Fantastic job! It really looks great. I can't sew - although I have a machine. I'm so impressed by anyone who can. It sure doesn't look like an amatauer job! Love it!
