Here are a few of the latest thrifted finds.
My sweet daughter brought home the pitcher and bowl on the left from their church yard sale, it reminds me of my great grandmothers . The pitcher on the right was one that I found recently. I would like to find a special place for the bowl and pitcher. Do you have any suggestions?
Here is another that she brought home for me. I don't know a lot about it other than it is old and she has a yellow one just like it. Does anyone know what kind of pottery this is? It unique and because I like pitchers it is a keeper.

Oh my gosh...that is the exact kind of stuff I am on the hunt for to go in my china cabinet. I have spray painted a couple of things white because I am trying to change it out to mostly white. Those are wonderful pieces!!! Lucky!!

What wonderful finds... That is so funny that your daughter and I have some of the same... The computer killed that green. It's not near as lime... Thank goodness. It did make me laugh though.. I will do a post soon on how I glazed my cabinets. It was about two years ago and my sweet husband through away all of the left over paint... ugh!... I will look it up and let yall know! The bowl and pitcher could go in a guest room - I have a friend who did that, she put it on an old dresser and it looked beautiful and homey. As for the other one, fill it with long flowers and put it on your dining room table!
Those pitchers are great! You could put any kind of branches from your yard. Sometimes I prune branches from my shrubs and put in my big white vase. In the fall, branches with leaves and maybe in winter, plain branches that you can hang little things from. My oldest grandson loves to paint little wooden ornaments for every holiday, so I just put him to work.

You have some fantastic hobbies. I wish I had more time to do some of those things (gardening, canning, etc.) I know, one day...
And for the pitcher with the bowl, I like Sara Mae's idea with the guest room...or I like the idea of putting it in a bathroom if you have room. My grandmother has a set on her long bathroom counter. Those basins were basically a sink back in the day!
