I wanted to share how we spent our time late one afternoon on vacation. We thought that it was getting ready to rain, and preferred not to be sitting in the tent in the rain. We had seen this on our way in, and decided that it would be worth a stop. Being the wonderful blogger that I am ( a little sarcasm there) I did not even get a picture of the road side stand. But what you are seeing is Kings Produce market, or rather some of the farm surrounding the market. there were rows and rows of these...
and more rows of these...
which were made into bundles of these...
FOR SALE at $5.00 a bunch.
Quite the bargain if you compare them to florist prices.
These were out back in the coop . Fascinating and fun to watch. Doing what they do best

Laying some EGGS of course!
As you can see it takes very little to entertain me on vacation. I just enjoy simple things. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. What kind of simple things will you be enjoying?

Such delightful pictures. Oh wow, the flowers are so lovely and colorful.
Your beach pictures are wonderful too. Looks like y'all had a wonderful time. Sweet dogie! I hope it was a relaxing weekend.
Oh and I had to come back to say that I loved camping at the beach the one time that we did it. Though my hubby did not. It was early August in St. Augustine. Not the best time---I agree---but I would love to go back in late spring, early summer or the fall.
Simple things are the best things anyway. Life is getting too complicated these days, so the simple things are so refreshing.
You certainly have a clever way of making a thrifty vacation look like it is the best kind to have. These photos are so impressive and beautiful! Simple, relaxing and colorful would be the perfect way to describe your post today...a mini vacation for me in the early morning hours.
Great pictures!
I have to agree with Judy, your pictures "took me in", also.
Thanks for sharing your vacation with us.
Goodness..the flowers are beautiful - and only five dollars a bunch!! How wonderful....I would love to have fresh cut wildflowers in my home all the time - but I don't. Great pictures!

wow! I wish those $5 flowers were near here! They are beautiful.
Did Blaine tell you about the Mystery Dinner he helped with last week? Him and Josh dressed up and were waiters for the young people. It was fun :)
Paul is leaving on Sunday for three weeks of training, so we won't be able to have Blaine over til almost the middle of July! Is he going back home when he's done his classes? I keep forgetting to ask him how long he is here for!
