Have you ever dreamed of what you think would be your perfect house? Many of you would think that I am crazy, but I have always dreamed of an old house with cottage charm a big porch and qualities that give it a lot of charm. Well yesterday I found my potential candidate and here it is!
My huge wrap around porch. Tin shingles. Small cottage front yard.
The swing is already there, and it works!

A glimpse at the kitchen, with a feeble attempt at remodeling.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, the price is right!
Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of repairs that would need to be made, but this place could be absolutely charming. My battery went dead or I would have taken more pictures. I might also add that it is in a very small little town, with lots of houses that look even more charming than this, and the yard backs up to a friend of mine that was once my neighbor. To be exact, the one I took the gift to yesterday. You would also be getting the best neighbor in the world! It is oh so tempting! I wish I had never gone to look at it . It could be a dream, but I have to remember it could also be a nightmare! What do you all think, other than that I am crazy?

I think if you are up to doing the work, you should consider it! It's very charming. :) If you don't want to do the work (or pay someone to do the work) it might be a headache.
Are you serious about this? If that is your dream and it is feasible...I say GO FOR IT!!
oh it is BEAUTIFUL...love the windows in the droom. Ronnie and I have remodeled two houses...it was hard, but so worth it in the end.

Oh girl. I wouldnt be able to sleep after seeing a house like that. It's a dream!

I can see why you are in love, of course I am a sucker for old homes. Life is short, if there is a way you can do it, then do it. You never know what tomorrow may bring.

I don't think you are crazy at all! I loved this house the minute I seen your pictures. I love older homes like this, love the porch, love the windows, it has so much potential! I really really love this house!
