Empty Nest Again?

Remember my trip to see my daughter last week?

Here we are riding down the road.

This little girl stayed behind.
We've had her since October, while they worked on renovating their house, but her Mom said it was time for her to come home.
Doesn't she look like she is missing me already?
For those of you who have asked how my daughter is doing, she is doing well. Her hemoglobin had dropped 2 points which explains why she has been so tired, but we expected that. She had her first Remicade treatment while I was there, and will be going for another one next week. Hopefully she will be able to tell a difference very soon. Thanks so much for your prayers. Jackie

Jackie, do you have a dog or cat of your own? Maybe it's time. :)

Awww, they are soo soo cute! I want to get a dog so badly - maybe this summer. I'm glad to hear that your daughter is doing better, too. :)

Oh my! They are just so sweet and wonderful. If I was picking out a new dog, it would probably be a schnauzer. Mine came potty trained and just an over all good boy, so I wasn't picky and he has been great to have.

I was just thinking about your daughter yesterday. Glad you gave us an update.

You've been on my heart this morning...Today I am praying that God will be El-Shaddai, the God Almighty of all blessings to each of us. El-Shaddai means the Breasty One Who nourishes and supplies our every need and fufills our every desire (like a new born depends completely on his mother). He is ALL-BOUNTIFUL AND ALL-SUFFICIENT. Looking forward to the next 11 weeks

Our teenage son plans on graduating next January and signing up with the military. This will make us empty nestors. I've been looking for bloggers such as you for support.
Our whole marriage has been about parenting but I'm looking forward to this new chapter in our lives.
