I will be taking a before picture, and posting at a later date, with an after picture. Pictures don't lie, let me tell you. I will be reading some for encouragement, and using those videos too. I am going to change things up a bit so I don't get stuck in a rut.
I'll be keeping a weekly watch on these
Now, if I can only find my WW material and start keeping up with the points. When I asked my husband if he'd seen it and his reply was, "it's probably in the yard sale pile." I'll be checking that too. How about you would you like to join in? We could all be a great encouragement to one another. Accountability makes a huge difference. What healthy changes are you making? I'll leave you with this verse,"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body." I Corinthians 6: 19 & 20.
Until Monday have a wonderful and blessed weekend.

Jackie, thank you so much for this post!! I too am an emotional eater and I have unfortunately eaten myself to 15 lbs. heavier over the spring/summer. I think "How is that possible? It is the season of fresh fruit/veggies!!" But it's true. Great blessings to you as you traverse this road! I will be right beside you!!!
I am an emotional eater too. I always try to recall this verse when I feel like I am over eating. Thanks for the reminder!!
I'm such an emotional eater too--and right now I feel so overwhelmed with life...my eating definitely is not good. Earlier this year I did WW on my own and lost ten pounds (still needed to lose twenty more)...and I've gained back every single one of those ten pounds. Waaaahhh!

I would love to join you...but I am pregnant and probably should wait until I am not! I've been doing a lot of research, though, about losing weight so I'll be ready after the baby comes, and I've decided to go with Weight Watchers for sure. I will be excited to hear about your progress! Good for you!

I know how you feel. We are supposed to eat to live, not live to eat. I think I usually live to eat! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving me a message. The green walls in my guest bedroom are called Cress Green. It came from either Lowe's or Walmart. I have always liked it. It shows up as bright lime in pictures, but doesn't look like that in person.
Have a great weekend!
I'm an emotional shopper. As far as eating goes? I just eat too much. And I like my cookies. :o) A few years ago I joined WW's and lost 20 pounds! I was pretty pleased with myself...but I've gained 15 of those 20 back. I know what do to...I just...like my cookies. lol But I really should join in with you... oh the accountability is what keeps me going.

Good for you, I often think about the fact that my jeans are getting tight and I should really do something about it... Guess that would mean NO chocolate fuge brownie ice cream...;)
Jackie, I send good thoughts your way as you tackle the weight loss!

My birthday is September 10. When is your anniversary?
What I want to know is why some people were created to always be thin no matter what they do or eat and why I wasn't one of those people?!?!
Hey, since you're not having luck with WM, have you checked places like Michaels Or Joann's because they might have similar materials? Just a thought, if you have access to those stores.
Okay, you probably already figured it out, but the above post was not from my son but from me instead. Why don't I notice these things until it's too late?
You know, summer seems to be a bit easier because you have fresh fruit and veggies in abundance everywhere....! Fall and winter mean lots of tea parties and open houses at the store - all with lots of tempting sweets and foods that have waaaayyyy too many points for one meal, let alone one day!!
Best of luck to you!

Oh Jackie, this is so honest! I feel so supported here in blogworld, knowing that other women feel the same as me! I'll say a prayer for you today, that God will bless your efforts and give you peace of mind.
