My daughter was married in January, and they are in the middle of a major house remodel. I will be helping for a few days , and we are also going to the yard sale fund raiser. We are looking forward to it and I hope I will be showing some great finds on Monday.
My son is a junior in college and a very talented artist . He loves the Lord, knows God's word well and is one of the most disciplined young men that I know. I will miss him once again.
God has blessed me with two wonderful children and a great son-in-law. I just thought I would take a little time today to do a little bragging. I will be away until Monday so I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I too have an empty nest and full life and with a son and daughter also. My daughter will now be a sophmore at Arizona State and will leave to go back to AZ in 2 weeks. Wow, I didn't realize it was only 2 weeks away until I just thought about it (I guess I'm trying to not think about it!)
Brag away...it sure sounds like you have the right too!
Take care and have a great week.
Have a great weekend with your daughter. When you have great kids, feel free to brag and be proud- it's quite an accomplishment!
Oh Jackie... I can see why you want to brag! What great kids you have. You are truely blessed. It shows that they had a great MOM, Smile.... Susie
Isn't it great to know that you've raised such terrific adults. I hope you have a wonderful visit with your daughter.

I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for your sweet words on my blog the other day. :)
Your kids are lovely.
Jackie,
Brag all you want! You have every right to when you've done a great job of raising your children.

P.S. I never answered you back about my camera. It's a Canon PowerShot A540 and an idiot could operate it, hence it's perfect for me! (I am not electronically inclined at all).
Thank you so much for your wonderful thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We are comforted by every comment and thankful for the support found in the blogging community. Your words were a blessings to us during these past few weeks.

I would love to send you out a coupon for the scrubbing bubbles. Please send me an email with your mailing address and I'll get it out this week.

Brag away! They sound and look like great little adults.
My sister is a young (37) empty nester and is going to be missing her girls too. One is a sophmore and the other a freshman. I didn't realize it was as hard as you hear, but seeing her go through it made me realize how precious time really is.
Wow, your children are just gorgeous. You must be so proud. I ask God every day for the grace it will take to bring my children to whole, God-loving, kind adults. Overwhelming when you think of it that way. But thank you for stopping by my blog today, I am so happy to "meet" so many wonderful people!
