Mimi's Book Collection

With the prospects of becoming a grandmother, you start thinking about fun times spent with that little one. One of the things I have done for quite some time, even before my daughter was pregnant , is to begin a collection of  books. All of these were picked up at the thrift store in excellent condition.
So, here are a few that I have collected.

One of my favorites.
I think we will have fun snuggling up and reading.
Can't wait!

Curious George! He is a favorite. Calvin has his monkey laugh perfected. :)

You have a lot to look forward to. Reading to my grands is one of my favorite things to do. Our stack includes Curious George, too!

Now I'm feeling all nostalgic and wishing I had a little, little one to snuggle and read with. I'll just be thankful that my 9 year old still loves to sit and read with me.

I just unpacked the boxes marked "kids books" and have had so much fun looking at them again! I hope that every time the little ones come to visit Nana, they will love looking at them and reading them with me too! Never too many books! I hate that they have gotten so pricey, but you are a smart cookie to shop the garage sales for them!

You are such a good grandmother!

I love those old books - esp. Dick and Jane. Brings back lots of good memories!

Hope you are doing well today.

Blessings,
Melanie

Sweet Girl would love for you to read the Curious George book to her. :) She LOVVVVEESSS CG! :)

So excited for you and the coming phase in your life.

How did the cabinet doors turn out? I am hoping and praying they worked out.

Jackie you and I are such kindred spirits...there's just nothing better than being a Mimi and having influence in that tiny life.
I got my granddaughter Ellie a library of my favorite children's books when she was born...some in the hard cover that babies can chew on, some for toddlers and then some big beautiful books for when she's just a bit older. She LOVES her books. It's her go-to favorite thing to do!
Prayers for a safe delivery for your darling daughter and that precious Judah...
