Thoughts for Sunday

"For the beauty of the earth, For the glory of the skies,
For the love which from our birth, Over and around us lies;
Christ our God, to Thee we raise, This our hymn of grateful praise.

Beautiful flowers and hymn!

We're having the most incredibly vibrant fall I've seen in years! I don't want it to go away... God has just taken our breath away with what He has created that lasts such a brief moment in time.

Makes me so thankful of the truth that if He put so much beatuy into the trees and flowers, which will wither and fade away, He surely puts His beauty upon us - His beloved children made in His image.

May His beauty be upon YOU, Jackie...(as I know it is!)

I love that hymn. It is the only song I can play on the piano. :)

Lovely post. I was just thinking something like this earlier this morning... as the rain blew and the brightly colored leaves whipped across the road. His earth really is beautiful.
